![]() ![]() I appreciate that you Kiereco, and Shiki Ryougi took the time to try helping. I assume it just took 2-3 hours completely register that I had made a user since I made the first account around 22:00, and sat there changing passwords and trying new accounts and searching for help until about 00:00, after that I watched some tv until about 01:00, Decided to go to bed and tried logging in one last time, and it worked with the original account created, I hadn't tried the trash accounts since they weren't intended for use anyways. It took circa 6 total password resets and the creation of 2 extra trash accounts just to see if it was a problem with the original. I was 100% sure the e-mail and password was correct, I even tried with google smart lock to make sure it was correct, as well as using a ridiculously easy password, which has been changed now of course since it works. If you used and typed it'd would say invalid as well. This does not work in reverse - players who begin the free trial on Steam must stay with the Steam version for all future purchases. Once you have done so, you will be locked into the Steam version for all future purchases. Once you own one license, you cannot ever own the other on the same Square Enix service account.įor free trial users: You can begin the free trial on the Windows version and then swap to the Steam version by purchasing the base game on Steam. Unlike Windows and PlayStation though, you cannot own both and must pick between Windows or Steam. If you are asking whether Steam accounts and Windows accounts can be combined or swapped between, the answer is no.įor paid users: Steam and Windows FFXIV licenses are as different as PlayStation and Windows and require separate purchases.
